Project Background
The hospital has completed the construction of a 30,000-square-meter scientific research and teaching building in the first phase, which is a large-scale integrated single building for medical treatment, teaching, and research. It plans to build 10 domestically leading and world-class clinical medical research centers and 4 auxiliary medical centers in the future, striving to develop into a first-class research-oriented hospital that integrates clinical practice, scientific research, teaching, and achievement transformation, with the characteristics of localization, digitalization, and internationalization.

After the completion of the first-phase building, the hospital has put forward several requirements for the telephone system in terms of campus communication construction and future planning, as follows:
Basic Deployment Requirements
Nearly 900 telephones need to be deployed in various departments, outpatient clinics, administrative offices and other departments to meet daily communication needs.
Functional Differentiation Requirements

The telephone system must support disaster recovery and backup mechanisms to ensure stable and reliable communication; at the same time, daily management and maintenance work should be completed by the hospital's information department independently to reduce operation and maintenance costs.

Equipment Room
Two Kangyou Kaixin KYKX1000 IPPBX devices with a capacity of 1,000 lines are deployed, connected to the hospital's private network, and enabled with dual-machine hot backup to ensure stable operation.
Extensions for outpatient clinics and departments are set as 6-digit short numbers, while those for administrative departments are set as 8-digit short numbers.
Two digital trunk gateways are deployed, connected to the IPPBX through the private network and integrated with E1 digital trunks.

Supports dual-machine hot backup, ensuring that if the main machine fails, the backup machine will take over immediately to guarantee the security of the hospital's telephone communication.
Adaptable to Future Construction
The Kangyou Kaixin KYKX1000 IPPBX can be expanded to 2,000 extensions at any time, meeting the increased telephone communication needs of the hospital's future construction.
The Kangyou Kaixin KYKX1000 IPPBX is based on network communication; for future deployment of IP phones in office areas, extensions can be registered simply by connecting to the network, without the need for additional telephone line laying.
